Police have released an image of a woman they want to speak to after a member of rail staff was sexually assaulted on a London-bound train.

A member of rail staff who was working on the service was assaulted by a woman just before 8pm on July 30, according to the British Transport Police (BTP).

The person then got off the train at East Croydon.

Police said they believed the woman in the CCTV image “may have information which could help their investigation”.

Anyone who recognises her, or has any information, is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2200076629.
