CCTV image of man wanted by police after street attack outside Glasgow bar

Police have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to after a street attack outside a Glasgow boozer.

Police were called to Mitchell Street, near to Tingle Bar in the city centre, after receiving reports about the assault at 3.05am on Sunday, December 18. Officers have since launched an investigation into the incident and believe the male pictured can assist them with their inquiries.

He is described as white and with dark hair. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a black, long-sleeved top with black joggers rolled up at the bottom and white trainers.

Constable Paul Craven, from Baird Street Police Station, said: “We believe this man may be able to assist with our enquiries and would urge him or anyone who has information relating to the incident, to contact police.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0661 of Sunday, 18 December, 2022, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed anonymously.
