New South Wales detectives are asking the public for help with an investigation into drug supply and an armed home invasion in the Central Tablelands.
It comes after the arrest of a 31-year-old man in Kingswood, Western Sydney, during a vehicle stop in late December.
Police said it was conducted as part of inquiries into the alleged supply of methylamphetamine in the Lithgow area.
Police allege they seized about 150 grams of meth during the vehicle stop, with an estimated street value of $75,000, and drug paraphernalia.
The man was taken to Penrith Police Station and charged, and is next due to appear at Penrith Local Court on April 14.
Police said the investigations led officers, as part of Strike Force Marien, to discover a home invasion at Lithgow, which had happened more than a month earlier, in November 2022.
Police said three men with their faces covered, armed with a shotgun and a machete, attempted to force their way into a Lawrence Street house through the backdoor.
Police said it happened about 2am when a man was inside the home but the intruders were unsuccessful and fled the scene.
No arrests have been made in relation to the incident.
Police have now released CCTV footage to assist them with the ongoing investigation and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
Police yesterday raided a Lawrence St address, where they spoke with a 50-year-old-man and a 28-year-old woman.
Police said they seized a number of items, including a handgun, a sawn off shotgun and a magazine, which would all be forensically tested.
No arrests have been made in relation to the raid.
