CCTV footage has been issued following a spate of thefts from parked vehicles in Newcastle.
On Tuesday, June 28 police received numerous calls from residents across Kenton, reporting various items had been stolen from their cars at around 2.30am.
It was reported the offender had targeted vehicles on Westwood Gardens, Southwood Gardens, Rosewood Gardens and Purley Gardens, trying door handles in order to gain access to those which had been left unlocked.

He made off with various small items, including a blue and grey North Face fleece.
Now, officers investigating the spate of incidents have released CCTV footage which shows a man who was in the area at the time, who they would like to speak to.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "Enquiries into the thefts remain ongoing and today (Thursday) Police have issued the CCTV of a man who was in the area at the time of the incidents and could have information which assists the investigation."
The man, or anyone who knows him is asked to contact police using the Tell Us Something page on the Northumbria Police website, quoting log 150 280722.
