A teenager stumbled into a barber shop after being stabbed in the leg during a street brawl.
A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the leg during a fight involving a group of men. Merseyside Police were called to Smithdown Road, Toxteth at around 4.35pm on Wednesday, June 29 after reports a man had been stabbed.
The ECHO heard how Yemi Sheen, the owner of Yemi's Barber Shop, rushed to the teenager's aid to apply pressure to the wound to keep him alive. Yemi said the man had been in the shop to book an appointment before stumbling back into the shop asking for someone to call an ambulance.

Yemi told the ECHO : "As I was cutting my client's hair he hobbled in and was saying 'I need an ambulance, I've been stabbed, I've been stabbed'. I went to go and find my phone and my client called for an ambulance.
"His mate who he was with came in and was asking 'what has happened' and I used one of the gowns we use to wrap it around his leg. The people on the phone were telling us to apply pressure. He was in a really bad away, in and out of consciousness, vomiting, he was in a lot of pain."
The victim was rushed to hospital in a serious, but not life-threatening condition. He has since been released. An investigation remains ongoing and officers have been carrying out forensic, CCTV, house-to-house and witness enquiries. Detectives investigating the stabbing have now released a CCTV image of two males who they believe could assist with their investigation.
Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: “We are keen to trace these two males as we believe they could have information which is vital to our enquiries. We believe the two males are in company with each other. I would ask anyone who recognises either of the males, or has any information about the incident to contact us as matter of urgency.”
