CCTV appeal after reports of a burglary in Newcastle apartment block

Northumbria Police have launched a CCTV appeal after a burglary at a Newcastle property.

It was reported between midnight and 10am on December 23 that an unknown offender forced entry into the Milk Market Apartments and gained access via the secure car park.

It is understood the offender then stole post from inside the apartment block before fleeing the scene.

The incident was reported to the police and a burglary investigation is ongoing.

On Friday, officers released the image of a man who was in the area at the time of the incident and may have information to assist with the investigation.

The man, or anyone who knows him, is asked to contact police using the Tell Us Something page on their website quoting crime number 142416X/21.
