Police have issued a CCTV appeal after a man was reportedly attacked in a Sunderland nightclub.
At around 3am on Saturday November 26, 2022, a man was in Trilogy on Green Terrace in the city centre, when he was approached by another man who he didn't know. Following an argument, the offender then attacked him by kicking and punching the 22-year-old.
The victim suffered bruising to his hands, a fractured eye socket and a broken nose as a result of the assault. The offender then fled the area on foot and the incident was later reported to police.

An investigation was launched and police have been making a number of inquiries in relation to the attack.
Officers have now issued an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. It is believed that he was in the area at the time and could have information which would assist the investigation.
The man, or anyone who knows him, is asked to contact police using the ‘Tell Us Something’ page on the Northumbria Police website, quoting crime reference number 140931Q/22.
