A man who was asked to leave a nightclub near Greater Manchester allegedly pulled a gun out before threatening bouncers. New CCTV images have been released of people police wish to speak to following the incident last month, which took place at the Level 2 nightclub in Buxton. Derbyshire Police says the incident took place at around 3.10am on Friday, March 18.
Door staff ejected a man from inside the club, on Market Place, after a disturbance which saw a member of staff being assaulted. Police say the man then produced a handgun, which he pointed at door staff and other members of the public.
A 26-year-old man from Buxton has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, assault, and possession of criminal property. He has been released on police bail as enquiries continue. Anyone with information about the incident is being urged to come forward.
