CBS Analyst Nate Burleson Accurately Predicted Super Bowl LVII’s Outcome

Every year, NFL analysts issue hundreds of game predictions ahead of the Super Bowl (we had quite a few ourselves here at SI). Some are correct; few, however, nail the margin of victory and even fewer nail the score.

Enter CBS and NFL Network pundit/ex-Vikings, Seahawks and Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson. Asked to make a prediction on NFL Gameday this morning ahead of Super Bowl LVII, Burleson made a prophetic pick.

"If I had to bet on one man, I'd bet on Andy Reid," Burleson said. "I do believe he is going to coach his best game that we've ever seen. It will be fun, it will be creative, it will be explosive. I have the Chiefs winning this 38–35."

Hours later, Reid and the Chiefs made good on Burleson's prediction. Propelled by a stellar offensive game plan from the future Hall of Fame coach, Kansas City indeed downed the Eagles 38–35 to win their second Super Bowl in four years.
