HYDERABAD: An all-party meeting with the tag ‘Bachao Hyderabad’ was attended by representatives of over a dozen political parties including Congress, Left, TDP, TJS, BSP, AAP and YSRTP on Wednesday. It adopted 34 resolutions pertaining to safety of women and minors.
While Telangana Congress president A Revanth Reddy alleged Jubilee Hills gang rape was committed in a temple area and dared city police commissioner to give clarity on this allegation, leaders of political parties (excluding BJP), demanded the TRS government set up fast track courts for all cases of rape. Guilty punished within three weeks of the incident, they said. Among the key demands was that the Jubilee Hills minor rape case be handed over to the CBI. The resolutions will be submitted to the state government .
