The actress' husband Glyn has issued a touching tribute to her as she died after being rushed to hospital in Southampton on Saturday, April 2. In it he explained that she had taken a 'turn for the worse'.

The disease is an incurable and life-limiting genetic condition that affects almost 11,000 people in the UK. People afflicted by the condition experience a build-up of thick sticky mucus in the lungs, digestive system and other organs.
