Joe Avary insists he has no regrets about leaving behind the hot sun and golden sandy beaches for life in the North East working as a Metro customer service advisor for Nexus.
His role will involve providing support for customers and inspecting tickets across the network's 60 stations. And his smooth American accent is said to be proving popular with passengers.
