With one win already under their belt, Armagh face a trip to Cavan this weekend with a place in the Ulster SFC semi-final at stake.
The Orchard County dispatched Antrim in the preliminary round with the minimum of fuss, coasting to a nine-point win at the Box-It Athletic Grounds earlier this month.
While Antrim were in Division Three this season, Cavan ended the League as Division Three champions and will surely provide a much sterner test for Kieran McGeeney’s men.

Indeed, they claimed a surprise win over Armagh in the pre-season Dr McKenna Cup on a woeful night in Kingspan Breffni Park, but that will count for little when the sides take to the pitch for the Ulster SFC quarter-final clash.
With Derry and Monaghan on the other side of the draw, both teams know that they’ve a great opportunity to reach a provincial final and games betweens the sides are usually full-blooded contests.
