Comedian Catherine Tate i s set to play a starring role at the final of this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
The Doctor Who actress, 53, has the honours of reading out the UK's scores at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena, taking over from Amanda Holden who held the role in Italy for last year's competition.
Sharing her excitement at the job offer, Catherine said "It’s very exciting to be announcing the iconic ‘douze points’ at Eurovision.
"It’s just a foot in the door really as next year I hope to be the UK entrant," she joked.
Viewers will know the funny lady best for her hit sketch series The Catherine Tate, with many comedy fans knowing the star thanks to her character Lauren and the teenager's famous catchphrase 'Am I bovvered?'
But the entertainer is also known to many for her life outside of work, with Catherine's relationships with fellow stars often capturing the public's interest over the years.
We take a look back at some of the Eurovision star's most high profile romances.
Take That fling
Way back in 2011, it was reported Take That singer Jason Orange was enjoying singing 'A Million Love Songs' to Catherine, with the two stars said to have struck up a romance after teaming up together for Comic Relief.
In a fun sketch for the BBC fundraiser, Catherine dressed up as the singer for spoof band Fake That alongside James Corden, Alan Carr, John Bishop and David Walliams, who made up the rest of the line-up.
It was reported Catherine and real Take That member (at the time) Jason hit it off and even stepped out together to support former Britain's Got Talent judge David at his charity swim along the River Thames a few months later.
Sadly, Catherine and Jason's blossoming romance came to an end in 2012, after the pair spent New Year's Eve apart.
A source told The People in February 2012: "Jason is a very private person and after it came out that he and Catherine were getting closer together it did affect their relationship.
"There was a lot of pressure on them and it caused them to go their separate ways for a bit but they are still very good friends."
Adrian Chiles
Following her split from Jason, Catherine's TV work helped her romantic life once again and introduced her to her next celebrity boyfriend.
The comedian first met Adrian Chiles, 46, on his programme That Sunday Night Show in January 2011, with the pair quickly striking up a romance.
But they only went public in September 2012 when they were seen kissing on a trip to America together.
Catherine, who has a daughter from her relationship with stage manager Twig Clark, was even snapped enjoying a ride with the former Match of The Day 2 presenter on his motorbike after confirming their romance.
But sadly, it wasn't to be and the pair called it quits in 2013, with sources close to the former couple citing the age-old classic 'work commitments' as the reason behind the split.
Happy ending with Hollywood writer
Despite once playing a bride on Doctor Who, Catherine has never seemed particuarly bothered about walking down the aisle herself.
But in 2019 it was reported was an engaged woman, after finding love with American screenwriter Jeff Gutheim.
"Catherine and Jeff have known each other for years," a source said when engagement rumours began to swirl.
"Jeff is a screenwriter, so he and Catherine have been working on several writing projects together. He’s a funny, good-looking guy but it’s been hard for his ex-wife to deal with the fact that he is dating someone so famous."
The pair have seeming mixed work and pleasure, with Catherine starring in her future husband's latest TV project.
Queen of Oz, an upcoming BBC One series, will see Catherine take on a starring role as a disgraced member of a fictional British Royal Family sent to rule Australia.
Jeff's other work includes penning scripts for Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures, New Line Cinema and WWE Studios, including rewrites of Full of It (2007) and Knucklehead (2010).
