What are Catch a Monster Weather Events

Weather events in Catch a Monster are limited-time weather conditions that change the appearance/weather of the map and also provide certain boosts. Some of the weather events can also spawn weather-exclusive monsters.
With their stat boosts and exclusive monsters, these weather events have added an extra layer to Catch a Monster. Read on for a complete list of all weather events and learn all about their effects/boosts.
All Catch a Monster Weather Events
| Weather | Description |
|---|---|
| Rain | Earn +30% Coins from battles. |
| Snowy | Earn +30% XP from battles. |
| Aurora | Spawns the Frost Floradelle when Aurora weather occurs at Nighttime. |
| Cloudy | Covers the entire map in clouds. |
| Nighttime | The sky turns dark, and the sun disappears. |

Catch a Monster FAQs
Yes, multiple weather events can be active at the same time. Weather events with a boost can also spawn simultaneously. So, Rainy and Snowy weather have a small chance of spawning at the same time.
The weather in Catch a Monster changes every 10 to 15 minutes. It could change completely, or it could only change one or two of the weather conditions if multiple events are active.
Yes, weather events will spawn randomly in private servers as well.
No, weather events are not global but server-based. That means each server can have different weather at any given time. If you’re looking for a specific weather, try hopping a few servers to find it.
Currently, Frost Floradelle is the only weather-exclusive monster. Regardless of the Index, the Frost Floradelle does not spawn at Frost Isle. Instead, it spawns at Neverland Island.
To catch Frost Floradelle, you need to wait for the weather to be Aurora at Nighttime. When that happens, go to the small island to the left of the Neverland island and wait for Frost Floradelle to spawn.
Frost Floradelle only spawns once per weather event (Aurora at Nighttime). If you don’t defeat and catch Frost Floradelle before the weather changes, you’ll have to wait for when the weather becomes Aurora and Nighttime again.
