Casualty taken to hospital after emergency services descend on Cullercoats Bay

Cullercoats Bay

A person has been taken to hospital after becoming injured at the coast.

Emergency services, including a Great North Air Ambulance helicopter, descended on Cullercoats Bay on Saturday afternoon.

Police cars, ambulances and the helicopter attended the stretch of North Tyneside coast just before 3pm.
