Renovations to part of CastleCourt's new entertainment centre is nearing completion with The Avenue cinema set to open this spring.
No date has yet been confirmed for the official opening but The Avenue is on the hunt for new staff to work in what they've described as "Belfast’s newest and most unique cinema experience".
The Avenue Cinema will take up some of the space occupied by the previous Debenhams outlet which shut its doors for good in May 2021.

The first phase of the renovation of the former Debenhams site was completed in October 2022 as Starbucks opened a new flagship store on the ground floor of the old Debenhams store.
The luxury 9-screen Avenue Cinema complete with bar is set to be the next phase to be completed with further retail units and entertainment features to be revealed in the coming months.
The Avenue are currently hiring for a number of roles and are seeking "dynamic individuals who are passionate about customer service to join the new team."
Two specialist recruitment days are set to be held on Tuesday 14th Feb 12pm - 6pm and Thursday 16th Feb 12pm - 8pm on the first floor of CastleCourt, next to The Entertainer toy store.
A number of roles are available including:
- Bartenders
- Baristas
- Floor staff
