Caster Semenya has claimed she once offered to show her vagina to athletics officials in response to being accused of not being a female.
Semenya, 31, should by right be renowned as a great within her sport, having won back-to-back Olympic gold medals in London 2012 and then Rio 2016. The South African is also a three-time world champion and Commonwealth Games winner over the distance.
However, after exploding onto the scene in 2009, convincingly winning her first world title in Berlin, she had to undergo gender verification tests. Following the IAAF investigation, it was confirmed that Semenya would keep her gold medal.
