Casetify, the renowned Hong Kong-based lifestyle and tech gadget brand, has finally arrived in Bangkok with the opening of Casetify Pop-Up Store Preview. It is available until March 26 at CentralWorld.
Situated at Atrium Zone's Level 1, this 80m² colourful pop-up shop is decked out with signature patterns and offers customised service, which allows customers to create their own AirPod cases, phone straps, laptop bags, backpacks, water bottles and other accessories in more than 1,000 designs and artworks from both international artists and homegrown designer Sundae Kids.
The brand also collaborated with Thai singer Jeff Satur to design a unique collection while Japanese cartoon lovers can enjoy the Sailor Moon collection and Pokémon edition only available in Thailand.
The opening event was attended by celebrities such as Wongravee Nateetorn, Zuvapit Traipornvorakit, Krit Jirakiatwattana and Napassorn Buranasiri.
"PP Group is constantly on the lookout for high quality, unique and popular products from around the world that cater to the taste and lifestyle of Thai consumers. Casetify is a tech accessory brand that has seen exponential growth in the past few years and has become an increasingly popular brand in Thailand, especially among Gen Z. PP Group, therefore, teamed up with Casetify to launch the first pop-up store in Thailand for six months, with a plan to open a store in the near future as Thailand is a key market," said Orand Puipunthavong, vice-president of PP Mode.
To reduce plastic waste produced by mobile phone cases and electronic devices, the brand established the Re/CASETiFY project, in which customers can bring an old phone or AirPod case in exchange for 15% discount off Casetify products. After that, used phone cases will be properly sorted and reused to create new products.
So far, Casetify has repurposed 28,000kg of plastic waste -- enough to cover 24 football pitches -- and effectively recycled and repurposed 85% of plastic waste.
