Casemiro and Ronaldo in Manchester United fans' preferred line up vs Leicester

Manchester United fans want to see Erik ten Hag make two changes to his side for Thursday's fixture against Leicester City.

The new United boss halted a brewing crisis by picking up successive victories over Liverpool and Southampton last week, following on from the two humiliating defeats that opened the Premier League season. Ten Hag understandably named an unchanged side following the great result over their Merseyside rivals, although the following performance at St. Mary's wasn't quite as good.

As a result, fans believe there should be a couple of alterations made in order for United to stretch their winning run to three games, with a huge jump up the table to fifth place on offer if they claim all three points.

The first change desired is the inclusion of Casemiro. The Brazilian made his debut in the final 10 minutes against Saints following his £60million switch from Real Madrid and there have now been calls for him to take his role at the base of midfield in place of Scott McTominay. Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes would join him in the middle.

Supporters also want to see Cristiano Ronaldo return to the fold for the first time since the humbling loss at Brentford. United's attack was not firing on all cylinders on Saturday and the return of Ronaldo certainly makes the front line more intimidating.

With new signing Antony not available for the game, with his big-money move from Ajax only being confirmed earlier on deadline day, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford will surely start on the flanks. Anthony Martial is also unavailable as he remains injured.

At the back, the fans do not want to see any changes with United's new-look back-line making the side look the most defensively sound it has been for quite some time. Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane and developing a good understanding at centre-back, keeping captain Harry Maguire out of the side. There's also no reason to switch Diogo Dalot or Tyrell Malacia while David de Gea will continue in goal.
