Carol Vorderman has teased that she has been secretly working on a 'secret project', sending fans into a frenzy. The former Countdown star, 62, looked almost unrecognisable as she excited her followers with the news on social media.
Clifton resident Carol, who is always glamorous, looks particularly dolled up in the snap. Her blonde tresses are styled in loose waves which frame her bronzed face, complete with dramatic lashes and a glossy lip.
Whilst Carol looked captivating in the close-up photo, she told fans that she was getting back into some comfy clothes. She wrote as the caption: "SECRET FILMING.
"So excited to have recorded something I haven't done before earlier this week. It won't be broadcast for a while but I LOVED IT.
"And I loved the dress I wore too...yessssssss. Anyway this is back in scruff and going home time. Make up @makeupbymikey Hair by @hadleyyatessalon."
Carol's Instagram friends and followers were floored by her glam look, with many complimenting her in the comments. Former Corrie actress Helen Flanagan wrote: "So beautiful love you x"

Carol's incredible makeover comes just days after she gave more details on her 'five special friends'. The Cambridge alumnus has sparked plenty of debate and speculation over her love life in previous years, and opened up about her partners during an appearance on This Morning earlier this week, telling Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that she has 'no plans' to settle down.
