Carol Vorderman has spoken out after she was snapped 'cosying up' with former Pop Idol star Gareth Gates.
Many celebs headed down to the racecourse to mark the first day of the Cheltenham Festival. Along with Carol and Gareth, Gloucestershire royal couple Mike and Zara Tindall was enjoying the sun, as was former Health Secretary Matt Hancock and his aide-turned-partner Gina Coladangelo, and Made in Chelsea's Georgia "Toff" Toffolo.
The ex-Countdown star has spoken openly her non monogamous lifestyle and said she has 'five lovers' who all know about each other. However, after images of Carol and Gareth laughing together were shared online, she took to social media to shut down rumours.

Along with a video, Carold said: "Apparently according to other papers Gareth Gates and I are cosying up together. Jesus, I've been busy!! Funny," adding laughing face emojis. In the video she went on to explain the conversation she shared with Matt Hancock after she was snapped speaking to him too.
She said that the MP thanked her speaking out about dyslexia. Over the years, Carol has raised awareness of dyslexia after her son was deemed 'unteachable' but she highlights how people can still be successful.
As Mirror reports, elsewhere at Cheltenham Festival yesterday, the King's niece Zara Tindall put on a regal display in a burgundy coat and heels, with jungle favourite "Magic Mike" Tindall's tie matching with his equestrian wife's outfit. Mike's fellow campmate Matt Hancock kept things smart-casual in a navy jacket and jeans.
Last night, the 2023 Cheltenham Festival announced the first death of the week. Malinello was seriously injured whilst competing in the Wellchild National Hunt Challenge Cup. At the 16th fence of the 3m5f race, the eight-year-old horse, trained by Ben Pauling, who had a 125-1 chance and was being ridden by Gina Andrews, was hurt, and later passed away despite the best efforts of the veterinary staff members.
