Carol Vorderman shares towel selfie as she calls herself a 'commoner'

TV star Carol Vorderman has showed fans her attempts to take a "graceful" selfie. Dressed in just a towel in some pictures, Carol joked she could not be posh - even if she tried.

Carol is best known for her time on Countdown and later went on to become a loose woman on Loose Women and entered the jungle on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! Now she has taken to Instagram to show her attempts at a mirror selfie.

Posting photos of herself dressed in a towel and wearing a headband she joked that she could never be "posh" or "hoity toity". She said: "Tried to do some mirror selfies...not sure I succeeded.....looking all hoity toity and posh in one of them. Lols. As if. I couldn't be that if I actually tried."

The star went on to call herself a commoner. She said: "Once a commoner....always a....(commoner)". Recently Carol has been enjoying time in Portugal at a Juice Master Retreat, where she dieted and worked out.

Carol, who is 61, has shared stunning bikini pictures and gym pictures from the trip. The Welsh star has also visited Cardiff in 2022 while working for the ITV morning show This Morning.

She was in Cardiff Bay with the This Morning menopause bus, promoting more talk and discussion about the menopause. While in Cardiff Carol told WalesOnline that going through the menopause caused her "deepest darkest depression".

She said: “I’ve been through some of the worst symptoms of it...I didn’t have any physical symptoms but I started, when I was probably about 53, 54, to get anxiety for the first time in my life which then developed into a very deep depression."
