Carol Vorderman shared a throwback photo of herself sporting a Vivienne Westwood top as she paid tribute to the late fashion designer.
Vivienne died age 81 on surrounded by her family in Clapham, South London on Thursday (December 29). A post on her Twitter account read: "29th December 2022. Vivienne Westwood died today, peacefully and surrounded by her family, in Clapham, South London. The world needs people like Vivienne to make a change for the better."
Tributes have flooded in for the fashion legend. TV presenter Carol, 62, took to Instagram to pay her respects. She posted a photo of Vivienne, alongside two throwback pictures of herself in a blue, pinstripe Vivienne Westwood top.

Captioning the post, she wrote: "RIP VIVIENNE WESTWOOD. Wild and wise. Rest in Vivacious Joy wonderful lady. I was never asked to walk a catwalk for you, but hell I loved wearing your clothes.
"Constructed and designed by a rebel to give a woman perfect confidence. By hell you'll be missed by those who knew and loved you. Icon. Blue top. @viviennewestwood of course," with an abundance of blue heart emojis.
Friends and fans paid their own tributes in the comments of the post, with some admiring Vivienne's work. @andreaburdett13 said: "Fabulous blue top. RIP Vivienne" while @graeme_porte said: "Sad news to hear. A pioneer for fashion & a strong women. Gone but never forgotten".
Dame Vivienne is largely accepted as being responsible for bringing punk and new wave fashion into the mainstream with her eccentric creations. Her designs were regularly worn by high-profile individuals including Dita Von Teese who wore a purple Westwood wedding gown to marry Marilyn Manson, and Princess Eugenie who wore three Westwood designs for various elements of the wedding of William and Kate Middleton.
In addition to her work as a designer, Dame Vivienne was vocal in her support of a number of social and political initiatives including campaigning for the release of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who is fighting to avoid being sent to the US to face charges under the Espionage Act.
