Carol Vorderman is known for her grace, intelligence and stunning beauty.
The 61-year-old left fans swooning over her curvaceous figure and ageless looks as she walked the red carpet of the Pride of Britain Awards earlier this week – ready to host the annual ceremony.
And, over the years the former Countdown mathematician has shared the odd secret to her flawless looks. Here, we take a look...
Carol clearly lives by the rule that beauty starts from within and has previously revealed the supplements she takes.
The star makes sure she takes vitamins A and D, omega 3, fish oils, calcium, pro-biotics and cider vinegar.
Carol's curvy figure has been up to much speculation in recent years, but the star insisted her figure is natural and previously told the Mail Online: "I’ve always had a huge a**e."
She added: "I promise I haven’t had bottom implants. It’s the same old bottom. In my family, loads of us have it: the Vorderman A**e. My daughter Katie has it. My nephew has it. We’re all sticky-out-bottom people."
Despite shunning rumours of surgery on her body, Carol said in 2021 that she has had Botox.
She revealed: "My secret is Botox, probably!
"But it’s not so much of a secret, is it? Everyone does it.
"Name me a person over the age of 50 on the telly that doesn’t do it?"
She added to the Ladies of Liverpool podcast: "It’s quite funny you know, because when you talk about it to people in the industry they go, ‘Yeah, and then it’s like, and?’
"That’s one of the great gifts of life, isn’t it, just being enthusiastic - whatever it is that you’re doing, be enthusiastic about it."
The TV star, who won Rear of the Year in 2011 and 2014, has also been very candid about her diet and fitness routine with fans.
Carol is a keen exerciser and has shared a number of videos of her working out on her Instagram.
In October, she posted a clip of her morning routine, which contained going up and down the 65 steps in her home, having a cup of tea and some weight training.
As she posted the montage clip on her Instagram page, she wrote: "I live in a very tall house so I’m up and down these stairs (65 from bottom to top) dozens of times every morning (good exercise).
"A cup of tea and some stretching.
"My front lounge is still partly a little gym for me....and I like it that way. Makes it easy for some simple goblet squats and arm weights and stretching.....hooked on stretching...
"Touch my toes first thing and see if I can get my palms on the floor or just fingertips to my toes....then do all the stretching (notes I put together of the ones I like) and touch my toes again...
"It’s amazing to see the difference once I’ve stretched my hamstrings. Palms of hand straight onto the floor.
"My little goal....I like life like that".
In August this year the TV star also jetted off to Portugal, where she went on a £1.9k-a-week juice retreat.
During her stay at Juicy Oasis, Carol dropped two dress sizes. Summing up the escape on her Instagram Carol penned: "My week.... in Portugal at Juicy Oasis @juicemasterretreats with @jasonvale who makes me laugh so much,
"A week of just fresh juices, LOADS of walking, a few sweaty gym sessions, massages, swimming in the moonlight, saunas, stretching out, salt baths, cryotherapy, NO MAKE UP (bliss) and otherwise hanging around in a dressing gown and bikini....oh and HOT TUBS."
A typical day at Juicy Oasis consists of daily yoga and exercise sessions and undergoing a juice diet.
Carol's juicing retreat may not be the most affordable but some of her beauty secrets are!
In 2019 the star's makeup artist Lauren O'Donnell revealed she uses false lashes on the star, which retail at just over £4.
Lauren told Hello! : "Lashes are Ardell Demi Wispies, £4.35, and I cut them so they are just at the outer half of the lash."
She also spilled on her skincare before applying the TV star's makeup as she said: "We've been using a lot of Charlotte Tilbury – her dry face mask, £18 is great. I've been using The Teoxane Deep Repair Balm, £19.99, as a moisturiser this week, as well as Chanel Le Lift Eye Cream, £66, to help Carol's skin combat tiredness from the early mornings too."
