Carol Vorderman reunited with famous Channel 4 Countdown clock as she hails 'happy days'

Carol Vorderman has been reunited with the famous Countdown clock The former show presenter has shared a series of snaps and video clips of her standing next to the iconic timepiece - and she looked right at home.

The 62-year-old, who starred on the popular Channel 4 show between 1982 and 2008, left her fans delighted with the Instagram post from Channel 4 HQ on Wednesday. Carol told her followers that she had danced to the clock music tens of thousands of times over the years.

In one of her posts, she can be seen beaming as she stands next to the clock, which ominously counts down 30 seconds as contestants battle to create the best word or number. And in a short video Carol even started jiving along to the tune.

She told her 313,000 followers and fans on Instagram: "CHANNEL 4 GREETING. Awwwww look what greeted me at @channel4 HQ this morning with a big smile on its clock face..... awwwww Happy days indeed. I've danced to that music tens of thousands of times over the years.....lols"

And it wasn't long before people reacted, with one person saying: "This brings back memories from my childhood of watching you on Countdown!" Another wrote: "I still sing that tune in my head whenever there is 30 seconds left on the microwave."
