Former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star Carol Vorderman has made a cheeky dig at Matt Hancock as he makes his debut in the famous jungle. Last night fans of the ITV reality show saw the MP, who served as health secretary during the Covid-19 pandemic, gearing up to enter the camp.
In a playful video posted to her Instagram stories, Carol made an unsubtle dig at Matt's surname. The former Countdown presenter was on her way to appear on ITV chat show This Morning to discuss I'm a Celeb when she joked about how to pronounce Matt's last name.
Carol quippped that the "Han" was silent so his name is "Matt C***." She said: "Apparently to say his name properly the Han is silent, who knew? Matt C***, I think I've got it right."

This is not the first time Carol has spoken out about Matt and the government. After it was announced that he had been suspended from the Conservative Party for entering I'm A Celebrity, she tweeted: "I have no words...except GENERAL ELECTION NOW."
The campaign group Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice called Mr Hancock's decision "sickening", and called for ITV to remove him from the programme.
The group tweeted: "Matt Hancock isn't a 'celebrity', he's the former health secretary who oversaw the UK having one of the highest death tolls in the world from Covid-19 whilst breaking his own lockdown rules."
Matt, who was suspended by the Tory party in the wake of his controversial signing being revealed, says the running the gauntlet in the jungle on the ITV show is "a good metaphor for the world that I work in."
He said in his introduction: "This experience will be an adventure, when I'm in camp people will just see the real me. Survival in the jungle is a good metaphor for the world that I work in.
"People will see me warts and all, see the human side of the guy behind the podium." He added: "I don't think I've got any fears or phobias but I'll find out."
