Carol Vorderman was back on This Morning but viewers were too busy heading to social media to comment to listen to her thoughts on the latest news headlines. The former Countdown host appeared on the famous sofa alongside Gyles Brandreth on Friday (January 20) for the latest 'This Morning's View' segment.
The pair were on hand to discuss the latest top stories with hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary. Introducing their guests, Alison said: "Gyles Brandreth and the Queen of television, Carol Vorderman."
"Hardly," Carol rebuffed before attention turned to Carol's outfit. "I feel like you got the memo with leather on," Alison, 47, said as she herself stunned in leather pants and a green and black shirt. "The leatherette," Gyles remarked as Carol confirmed: "They are leather, yes."

Alison then joked: "I feel like I am in competition with Vorderman." But Dermot, 49, said: "Whether we know it or not, we are all channelling the Vorderman in one way or another." Carol, 62, donned a black top with her tight-fitting trousers which only added to her youthful appearance that got fans talking on social media.
One tweeted: "Can we take a moment to appreciate how good Carol Vorderman looks this woman just doesn’t age she has looked after herself well #thismorning." Another said: "Carol Kardashian."
A third shared: "I’m wondering if Carol has found the fountain of youth and not told anyone she looks incredible #thismorning." A viewer joked: "How the hell did Carol get those leather trousers on,when I put mine on it’s like an Olympic sport #ThisMorning."
Carol's appearance on the show comes days after she stunned her social media followers by slipping into a PVC bodysuit. The TV star was sharing a behind-the-scenes look at an upcoming photoshoot and wowed with her curves in the figure-hugging attire, which she donned in both red and black.
The video showed her getting ready with her 'glam squad' before she strutted around in front of the camera. Ru Paul's Drag Race star Michelle Visage was among those to comment, writing: "Look at you my sister! HOT STUFF."
The video was likely filmed, however, before Carol jetted off with Alison to a juicing retreat in Portugal. Fans wondered if the pair had signed up to 'celebrity Love Island' as they appeared in a series of videos and images with fellow celeb pals Robert Rinder and Alex Scott.
