Carol Vorderman calls I'm A Celeb's Matt Hancock a 'c**k' as she jokes 'Han' is silent

Carol Vorderman has taken an X-rated swipe at Matt Hancock as the politician enters the I'm A Celebrity jungle.

Former campmate Carol, 61, made her views clear on the ex health secretary ahead of tonight's show which will see him face his first trial with Seann Walsh.

In a teaser clip, Hancock is deluged in slime and cockroaches as he tackles the Beastly Burrows' challenge in a bid to win stars for their new campmates.

Taking to Twitter ahead of his arrival, Carol shared a video of herself in the back of a taxi.

She said to her followers: "Well I'm on my way into the This Morning studio again to talk about Boy George with Boy George's manager and to talk about the arrival about Seann Walsh and Matt Hancock."

Carol joked: "Apparently, to say his name properly the 'Han' is silent. Who knew?"

The former Countdown presenter's followers took to Twitter to comment on her cheeky quip.

One wrote: "Brilliant Vorders," while another added: "Love it".

Viewers will see the full trial tonight and also witness Hancock and Seann arriving in camp to meet the other celebrities.

Before going into the show, disgraced MP Hancock told viewers they would "see the real me".

In his final interview Hancock said his phobias include "snakes", adding: "I don't thankfully suffer from claustrophobia -or I think I don't."

He added: "Lots of people have a view on me from being health secretary in the pandemic dealing with some very difficult issues, but that's not the whole story.

"I am looking forward to throwing myself into it all like I do everything in life. You can't hide anything in the jungle, you see somebody warts and all."

Amazingly despite the controversy around him signing up, the 44-year-old MP felt he had a chance of winning and said being crowned king would be the "icing on the cake".
