The Channel 4 gameshow Countdown shot Welsh maths whizz Carol Vorderman to fame back in 1982, when she began co-hosting the show with its original presenter, Richard Whiteley. Since then she has gone on to be a Loose Women panelist, entered the jungle on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! and now is often a guest on the ITV morning show This Morning.
Carol co-presented Countdown from 1982 to 2008 and has now returned to the Channel 4 HQ to see the well-known clock from the series, which counts the contestants down as they battle to create the winning word or number.
Posting photos of her smiling, posing and dancing along to the music Carol said her time on Countdown was "Happy days indeed". The star was also visiting Channel 4 to take part in internal panel on embracing equity for International Women's Day.
