Former Loose Women presenter Carol McGiffin has said ITV with Philip and Schofield and Holly Willoughy is "cutthroat".
The star opened up about her experience working for the company, after she quit Loose Women earlier this year. The 63-year-old described ITV as "cutthroat, competitive and ruthless" as she revealed the "dysfunctional" set up behind the scenes, reports the Mirror.
It comes after Carol branded Phillip "fake" when his relationship with a younger colleague at This Morning came to light. He stepped down from the show last month after admitting the affair.

Speaking in her column for Best magazine, Carol said: "They go on about the ITV Daytime Family' being cosy best mates, all caring and kind, but in my opinion it's about as dysfunctional as they come.
"It's cutthroat, competitive and ruthless, and can be quite unpleasant, and as soon as your face doesn't fit anymore, or you disagree with their narrative, you're out the door."
Carol previously talked about Phil and Holly when she was interviewed by GB News host Dan Wootton. When asked if they were nice to her while she was on This Morning, Carol said: "Phillip was there but he wasn’t very nice, to be honest.
"He treated me as though it’s like ‘oh another Loose Woman with another book’ and I kind of get that but it was just like he was so not interested that it was a struggle.
"I was giggling and laughing actually because I couldn’t believe he was being so bloody rude."
She went on to explain that while that was her only negative experience with Phillip, she’d heard stories about Phillip being "unpleasant to a lot of people."
Phillip stepped down from all of his commitments at ITV when the controversial situation arose. Since then he has released statements and done interviews where he apologised to those who have been affected by the situation.
Holly mentioned in a statement that she had asked Phil about the relationship rumours when they arose but he denied them. She has since presented This Morning alongside Josie Gibson.
