Carol Kirkwood presented her final weather forecast for the BBC on Wednesday, 1 April.
She is departing the BBC after a 28-year career with the broadcaster.
Kirkwood announced her decision to leave in January.
She joined the BBC Weather Centre in 1998 and became BBC Breakfast's main weather presenter in 2010.
She admitted to being 'in denial' about her departure and stated she would 'miss everyone horribly'.
