BBC Breakfast weather presenter Carol Kirkwood has revealed her feelings about leaving the show after more than 25 years.

The 63-year-old tearfully announced in January that she is bidding farewell to the broadcaster, saying she “loves her job” but wants to spend more time with her police officer husband Steve Randall.
