Carnage at KSI vs Tommy Fury public workout as fighter spits at John Fury, who squares up to Logan Paul’s dad

KSI and Tommy Fury took to the stage in Manchester for a public workout ahead of their highly-anticipated boxing match - and, as expected, sparks flew.

The scenes at Bowlers Exhibition Centre were just a glimpse into what fans can expect from their fight on Saturday evening, which features Dillon Danis vs Logan Paul on the undercard.

There was plenty of chaos at their pre-fight press conference in August, when John Fury flipped a table, and the histrionics continued in Wednesday’s workout.

Inside the ring, the drama was kept to a minimum while both Paul and Danis showed off their wrestling moves on their training partners.

Outside of it, though, KSI launched a tirade at Tommy Fury as he watched him undertake media duties from a balcony, shouting: “Look at me while I’m talking to you.”

John Fury, Tommy’s dad, had clearly had enough and launched a bottle at the YouTube boxer, which nearly hit him and prompted KSI to spit down at the 59-year-old before a further exchange of words.

John was involved again in a separate incident with Greg Paul, Logan’s dad, as the pair were separated while firing off threats.

“They shout and scream on internets [sic],” bellowed Fury. “But I don’t see any action!”

The fighters will reconvene at Manchester’s AO Arena on Friday evening for the weigh-in, a day before the contest itself.

Not all onlookers are enthused by the rising popularity of YouTube boxers entering the sport, such as former super-middleweight world champion Carl Froch.

“Nothing against Tommy Fury, but I don’t think he’s good enough to win a British title,” he told BBC Sport.

“In a real professional ring he can go and fight Jake Paul and earn millions. Now, he’s going to fight KSI and earn even more in fights that are really area level.

“Fair play to him, take the money and run, but it’s damaging the integrity of the sport.”
