After taking a year off, the Ohio State alumni team known as Carmen’s Crew, will be back in this year’s The Basketball Tournament.
The news comes from former Buckeye basketball star and Carmen’s Crew coach, Jared Sullinger, on the “Carmen’s Crew” podcast. However, if you enjoyed watching the team because of all of the former Thad Matta players, you might have to get used to a new look.

We’re getting old. We can’t keep doing it anymore. We’re gonna keep fighting, and we’re going to start a new era of Carmen’s Crew.”

Carmen’s Crew has had a pretty good run at the TBT. It reached the semifinals in Year 1 (then known as Team Scarlet and Gray) and won the tournament in 2019.
The roster for this new group of Ohio State alumni hasn’t been released, but when it is, we’ll be sure to bring it to you.
