Ferrari need at least one more race win before the end of the current season to give themselves the boost they need heading into 2023, believes Carlos Sainz.
This campaign was one which promised so much at the start for the Italian team. A one-two in the Bahrain curtain-raiser was turned into two Charles Leclerc victories from three, while Red Bull suffered early-season reliability concerns.
But it wasn't long before the tables turned. Soon it was Max Verstappen dominating proceedings while Ferrari were the ones suffering from mechanical problems, most notably from engines which developed a habit of blowing up at inconvenient times.
