West Bromwich Albion have confirmed that Carlos Corberan has signed a contract extension with the club, forcing Leeds United to look elsewhere for their Jesse Marsch replacement.
Corberan was heavily tipped to replace Marsch and return to Elland Road as head coach following the American's dismissal. The Spaniard spent three years at Leeds and was the odds-on favourite to become the club's new manager.
But now the Championship side have confirmed that Corberan will not be going anywhere, as he signed a deal that will see him remain at The Hawthorns until the summer of 2027.
