Carl Mullan has shared a hilarious incident that occurred while rehearsing for this Sunday’s Dancing with the Stars performance.
The radio presenter says he ‘almost broke every bone’ in his body after taking a fall from this weekend’s prop.
Taking to Instagram Stories during rehearsals on Wednesday, Carl asks dance partner Emily Barker how dancing with the prop is going and she tells his followers to 'look.'
“It's going really well,” Carl says as he flips the camera to show a broken table and captioned the video: “Literally just almost broke every bone in my body”.
He went on to tell viewers what had actually happened and said he was in the middle of practicing his steps on top of the table when it crumbled beneath him.
“Life was good and rehearsals were going well. I was in my element as @emilybarker123 watched on...
“But then…”
In the next clip, the DWTS contestant acted out a hilariously dramatised version of events, that concluded with Carl’s expression changing as he “falls”.
After spotting a CCTV camera in the corner of the room, the 33-year-old tried to get his hands on the footage.
He quickly managed to find it, thanks to professional dancer and 2019 DWTS champion John Nolan, who had access to the camera stream in the room.
Teasing his followers with a still from the camera on his WhatsApp, he said: “You'll get to see it on Sunday before our dance”.
The broadcaster and Emily are getting ready to compete in the quarter-final of the RTÉ celebrity dancing competition in the hopes of securing the Glitterball trophy.
