'Caring' teen had hair cut for first job hours before crash death

A heartbroken dad has given a touching tribute to his daughter who died in a car crash last week.

Charlotte Hope was driving home after picking her mum, Helen, up when they were involved in a crash with a BMW. The crash killed 19-year-old Charlotte and left her mum in hospital.

Charlotte was a second-year student at Ormskirk based university Edge Hill studying to become a primary school teacher. She had had her hair done that afternoon in preparation for the first placement of her course in Formby. The High Wycombe born teen was described as 'compassionate' and 'funny' by her dad, Neil Hope MBE.
