Caring For Derek viewers have praised "remarkable" Kate Garraway as they watched Derek Draper 's journey to recovery.
The eye-opening documentary follows Kate's husband's adjustment to living at home after over a year in the hospital following his Covid battle.
He contracted Covid-19 in March 2020 and left the hospital last year after 13 months and after being in an induced coma.
Tuesday's programme left viewers feeling emotional as they witnessed his good days, bad days, and the 'loneliness' Kate feels as she looks after her husband.
They took to social media to tell Kate they have 'so much love' for her.

Another added: " @kategarraway watching you on itv, so much admiration for you and your love for Derek."

Many fans commented on how the series was an emotional rollercoaster as they got an honest look at what everyday life is like for him.
"#Caringforderek is quite the rollercoaster, I’m so happy watching little Billy beaming as his Dad is brought home and how he just wants to cling to him, but it’s very hard to watch what was once a healthy man so ravished but Covud. Kate and the kids love for him is beautiful," one user said.

During the show, it had been revealed that Kate had taken Derek to Mexico in order to take part in a ground-breaking trial.
Viewers even got to witness Derek celebrating his 54th birthday and how he needs Kate's and a carer's help to get up and move about.
At the beginning of the episode, Derek and Kate's son Bill discussed his excitement about having dad back home.
The 12-year-old even admitted he had been waiting for his father's return to complete a lego set they had been building.
