'Caring and fun' mum unexpectedly dies while working at The Range

A 'caring and fun' mum has unexpectedly passed away whilst working at The Range. Tracy fell ill whilst on shift at the store and despite the efforts from her colleagues and the emergency services she tragically died, reports the Liverpool Echo

The mother went into her workplace on November 11 but started feeling unwell around midday. The emergency services were then called and soon arrived at the Croft Retail Park store to attempt to treat the worker.

The police erected barriers to halt shoppers trying to access the car park. However, despite the collective efforts from the emergency services to save Tracy's life she sadly died not long later on Friday.

Following the news of the mother's untimely demise, tributes have poured in across social media. On Facebook, Ria Cairns said: "So sad I was there thinking of the family and friends also the staff and the lady who was helping sending hugs."

Lesley Tripp also added her condolences on Facebook, stating: "So sad. Thinking of their family at this tragic time."

Sammie Fardoe added: "This was so sad was there at the time the lady who was trying to bring her back deserves a medal she didn't stop hope she ok and all the workers and sending love to the lady's family."

A GoFundMe was also set up to support the family amidst their grief. The organiser, Jessica Gregson, wrote a touching homage to the deceased stating she will be 'dearly missed' by many.

She said "For those who are not aware, Tracy very sadly passed away unexpectedly while at work and unfortunately despite efforts of staff/ work colleagues and the emergency services nothing could be done for her.

"This has come as a huge shock to all Tracy's family, friends and work colleagues and has truly been the most devastating time for everyone. Tracy was such a kind, caring, fun, loving and very much loved lady by everyone.

"Tracy will be dearly missed by not only her husband, children, siblings, grandchildren, all family but also her friends and work colleagues and will certainly never be forgotten."

The fundraising page for Tracy's family is now longer accepting donations after amassing £150 in two days.
