Care worker with 'heart of gold' died in husband's arms after sudden illness

The devastated husband of a mum-of-three who died after suddenly falling ill said she had 'a heart of gold' and dedicated her life to caring for others. Grace Nalule Sekitoleko was just 36 when she died in her husband's arms.

The care worker at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, had been visiting family in Grimsby and was at the beach when she started to feel ill. She was rushed back from their trip in Lincolnshire to their West Yorkshire home and husband Ivan Bemba Katende took her to A&E.

As reported by Yorkshire Live, he said Grace was discharged and returned home at 7am the next morning. She spent the day resting in bed on Monday, August 15, but Ivan found her unconscious in the afternoon.
