The Baltimore Ravens traded wide receiver Marquise Brown during the 2022 draft in exchange for a first-round pick. The former Oklahoma star had expressed displeasure with his role in Baltimore, and subsequently asked to be traded, which was granted.
Arizona lost quarterback Kyler Murray for the remainder of the 2022 season and subsequent foreseeable future when he tore his ACL in December. The Cardinals’ offense has undergone a bit of a shift over the course of the 2023 offseason, and when asked if he was concerned about his new role, he mentioned that he played in Baltimore in a run-heavy system.
