I know what you’re thinking. A post about a catcher catching a ball? Isn’t that what professional catchers who have played in MLB for like 90 years are supposed to do? Isn’t that their job? Isn’t that the exact description of their job!?
Yes, all of that is true. Absolutely. But this catch that Cardinals legend Yadier Molina made last night in St. Louis’ win over the Cubs was so darn awesome. Plus, it showed off some pretty impressive mobility for a dude who is 39 years old and has spent most of his life crouched down behind a plate.
