Offseason staples in the NFL every year are the announcements related to the Madden NFL video games from EA Sports. Coming up on June 11, the cover athlete will be announced. The game will drop in August.
An Arizona Cardinals player likely won’t the cover, but if EA Sports were to release a cover for all 32 NFL teams, Arizona would have four solid options.
Who are the good options on the Cardinals?
QB Kyler Murray
Murray is the obvious choice because he is the quarterback and has the highest national profile on the roster.
RB James Conner
Conner also has national appeal and will likely be a popular fantasy football choice after his first 1,000-yard season.
TE Trey McBride
McBride broke out in 2023 and will certainly be a player than fans will recognize more in 2024.
