Cardinals come in last in another set of offsason power rankings

No one outside the organization is expecting much from the Arizona Cardinals in 2023. They have the lowest projected win total in the NFL.

Quarterback Kyler Murray is expected to start the season injured, coming back from a torn ACL.

They are consistently last or nest to last in any power rankings that come out.

In a new set of offseason power rankings from Seahawks Wire managing editor Tim Weaver, you guessed it — the Cardinals come in dead last at No. 32 out of 32 teams.

The good news is that help is on the way to Arizona. The bad news is it won’t arrive until the 2024 NFL draft. For now, this is easily the worst roster in the league – especially after losing DeAndre Hopkins and getting nothing but a massive dead money hit for their trouble. What games they win this year will be 100% thanks to Kyler Murray’s incredible talent.

While I believe they will be a little better than expected this season, ranking them last makes sense.

They just cut one of their best players in DeAndre Hopkins. Murray is injured. They have a new coaching staff and general manager. They lost their best defensive players to retirement or free agency.

Nothing about the offseason projects well to 2023.

Should they be ranked last in the offseason? Yeah, probably.
