Cardiff Market is to re-introduce its 'night market' with late-night opening hours. The event first launched in July 2019 but was put on hold due to coronavirus restrictions. Now, the venue has now announced its evening event is set to make its grand return later this month.
Cardiff's indoor market, on St Mary Street, which usually closes at 5.30pm each evening will stay open later than usual, welcoming shoppers until 9pm. It is currently unknown whether the late night event due to be held on Thursday May 26 will be a one-off.
The market is home to dozens of stalls which sell everything from fruit and vegetables, fresh lunch options to clothes and household objects. There is also a wide selection of hot food vendors also operating out of the market, such as Ffwrnes Pizza, and the recently -launched Pierogi.
