A Cardiff taxi driver and his son who died in Bangladesh were poisoned by carbon monoxide, police believe. Rafiqul Islam, 51, and Mahiqul Islam, 16, died after being found unconscious in the north-eastern region of Sylhet late last month.
They were found alongside Rafiqul's wife Husnara Begum and their other children Samira, 20, and Sadiqul, 24. Husnara and Sadiqul were released from hospital on Wednesday, while Samira remains in an "alarming" condition in intensive care, police said.
Officers said Husnara and Sadiqul had told them a faulty emergency electricity generator in the property they were staying at had been used on the night of the tragedy due to a power cut, the BBC reported.
