What's the latest team news?

All of Cardiff's players returned from international duty unscathed and ready to go for the South Wales derby.

Long-term absentees Max Watters, Sean Morrison and Isaac Vassell remain sidelined, while Steve Morison has confirmed that Rubin Colwill, fresh from scoring his first Wales goal on Tuesday night, will start Saturday's clash on the bench.

As for Swansea, they have no injury concerns ahead of the game. The visitors will be without Ryan Manning who is suspended.

Flynn Downes and Jamie Paterson are both available after missing the 0-0 draw with Birmingham City before the international break.

What have the managers said?

Cardiff City boss Steve Morison: "Both ourselves and Swansea are in a similar place in the league, having gotten there in different ways. We’re both in decent form recently, and it sets itself up for a decent game.

“It will be the first game off the back of a long break as well, so it will be a good game to go back into.

"We know how they like to play by dominating the ball, but it'll be a case of trying to control the atmosphere and emotions. When the moment comes, it's about putting your stamp on the game.

"It will be really nice to have that noise (in the stadium) from the off. We need to make sure that the noise stays the same for the full 90 minutes. We have to play our part in that by performing."

Swansea City head coach Russell Martin: " It’s an opportunity to be really excited about, for everyone. It’s a massive opportunity for us to go there and try to be the team we want to be.

"Forget what happened in the first game, it’s a chance for us to go there and really express ourselves, be brave, try to be the dominant team, be the aggressor and then see what comes of it and hopefully give our fans a performance to be proud of."
