Here's your round-up of all the latest Cardiff City news for Monday, July 25.
Murphy set to sign for Oxford
Former Cardiff City winger Josh Murphy is reportedly set to sign for Oxford United.
The 27-year-old, who once cost the Bluebirds £11m, left the capital as a free agent earlier this summer, and is now on the look out for a new employer.

He had initially gone on trial with fellow Championship side Reading earlier in the window, but the Royals chose not to offer the ex-Norwich City man a permanent deal.
Murphy could subsequently make a return to action in League One, with Oxford United now seemingly leading the race for his signature, having named the winger in the squad for the pre-season friendly with AFC Wimbledon at the weekend.
U’s boss Karl Robinson, who worked with Murphy during his time at MK Dons, said: “He’s one of the best wingers I’ve worked with. He’s in one of the best places he’s ever been.
“Our board supported this financially, which was incredible.
“We’ll see how it goes, let’s just say it’s not a trial.”
According to the Oxford Mail, a permanent deal could well be announced in the coming days.
Tomlin happy to be a Rover
Lee Tomlin says he's the happiest he's been 'in a long time' after sealing a move to League Two side Doncaster Rovers.
The 33-year-old, who left Cardiff City by mutual consent back in October 2021, has signed a one-year deal with Rovers after a successful trial, and admits he can't wait to get started.
He said: "The manager and myself had a conversation and given how much I’m enjoying myself it felt like an easy decision to sign.
“Money doesn’t matter to me, I’ve had that and hated football but being here I’ve enjoyed it more than ever.
“If I’m being honest I didn’t think football could make me happy again, but I’ve not been this happy in a long time.
“I’ve seen the messages on social media and that’s great, I want to do well for the club, the manager, his staff, players and everyone involved.
“When you’re a free agent you have to take your ego out of it and get used to the situation you’re in, but I’ll be happy to see my name back on the team sheet.
“We have to be switched on and ready to go now, we have one pre-season game left and then it’s all systems go towards Bradford.”
Morison ready for 'good week'
Cardiff City boss Steve Morison says he was delighted by the attacking intent shown by his side during the weekend's win over Swindon Town - and says it will provide the perfect platform on which to build ahead Saturday's opening day clash with Norwich City.
The Bluebirds ran out 4-2 winners at the County Ground courtesy of a dominant first-half display, which included an impressive level of cutting edge up front.
"You need to have end product, and it was pleasing that we did," Morison said. "The reaction when we lose the ball, and when we get it back, then looking forward and putting ourselves in attack, was really good.
"We're working on a way of playing, and also a way of playing that suits the players we've got. We've brought the players in to play a certain way, and they're doing alright at the minute.
"It's going to take time until it becomes second nature, but we're on the right path. We've got a week now to really hone in and harness what we want to do against Norwich. It will be a good week."
Idah a doubt for Cardiff clash
Norwich City boss Dean Smith says Adam Idah remains nearly a month away from full fitness, despite his recent pre-season exploits.
The 21-year-old has been tipped for a big season with the Canaries after seeing a promising campaign last season ended prematurely by a knee injury.
He has since been working to build up his fitness over the summer, ahead of Saturday's opening day clash with Cardiff City.
But Smith says the forward remains a doubt to face the Bluebirds, despite watching him play 80 minutes against Hibernian in pre-season over the weekend.
“Adam Idah’s gone and got 80 minutes today," he said. "You can tell from his game time in Scotland that he needs that as he’s about three weeks behind where we’d like him at the moment, but he’s had a long time off with injury.”
